Security Camera Systems

A camera system is only worth having if it sees what matters. We design coverage around your actual risks, install the PoE infrastructure to support it, and set up recorders your team can operate.

Overview

IP surveillance comes down to design more than gear. Camera choice, lens selection, mounting height, lighting, and network capacity decide whether footage is useful or just hours of noise.

We plan coverage around entrances, exits, parking, dock doors, and interior chokepoints, then install the PoE cabling, switching, and recorders behind it. Storage, retention, and remote access get set to match how your team actually uses the system.

What you get

  • A coverage plan built around your real risk points
  • PoE infrastructure sized for the current cameras and the next few
  • NVR or hybrid recorder with retention set to your policy
  • Remote access with least-privilege user accounts
  • Camera-by-camera as-built listing IP, port, and location
Capabilities

What we install and support.

IP camera install

Fixed, varifocal, dome, bullet, and PTZ cameras placed for real coverage.

Coverage design

Lens and mounting plan checked against conditions on site.

NVR & VMS setup

Recorder configuration, retention, and user roles.

Storage sizing

Storage matched to camera count, resolution, and retention policy.

Remote & mobile access

Secure remote viewing from desktop and phone.

PoE infrastructure

Managed PoE switches and cabling built for the load.

Applications

Process

A repeatable process, from walk to handoff.

  1. Site walk

Identify entries, blind spots, and high-value areas.

  2. Design

Camera, lens, and mount choices with a coverage map.

  3. Cable

PoE runs and pathways, outdoor-rated where required.

  4. Install

Mount, aim, and weather-seal every camera.

  5. Configure

Recorder setup, retention, alerts, and user access.

  6. Handoff

Documentation plus a walkthrough of the system with your team.

Technical notes

Details that matter on site.

Resolution vs. usable coverage

More megapixels doesn't automatically mean better footage. Field of view, distance to the subject, and pixels per foot on the target area decide whether an image is any use to an investigator. We design to a pixel density target rather than a spec sheet.

Storage math

Retention depends on camera count, resolution, frame rate, codec, and whether you record on motion or continuously. We size storage from your actual profile so you get the days of retention you expected instead of what a marketing chart implied.

Field work

What clean installs look like.

Representative equipment and examples of the systems our team installs and supports.

Modern glass commercial building with exterior security cameras mounted on the facade.
Facade cameras positioned to cover the main entry and the approach to it.
White arm-mounted PTZ dome camera on the corner of a grey commercial building.
Arm-mounted PTZ on a building corner, set high enough to cover two elevations and the lot.
White bullet-style IP camera mounted on an interior wall.
Bullet camera aimed down an interior chokepoint where everyone has to pass.
